About
Dutch designer Susanne de Graef has a knack of succinctly sparking the viewer’s emotions with her light and poetic creations. Her illuminating Rhythm of light project enchants with its grace – perhaps not so surprising, then, to discover that the lamp’s shape was inspired by the crinoline, a 19th century hoop skirt.

Presentation 1
Having intrigued viewers since it first came to light as a student project, Susanne developed and produced an alternative version, based on the original version of the lamp. Susanne presents a collection of rhythm of light products in new color gradients together with a small collection of her work at the Salone Satellite.

Presentation 2
The breathtaking antique salons of Palazzo Francesco Turati will host an exhibition where the creations of over a hundred and twenty-five Dutch artists and designers dialogue with a selection of exquisite Dutch Golden Age paintings. With its outstanding furniture, accessories, clothing, textiles and jewellery, for the quality of their design, originality, use of material and refined craftsmanship, Masterly – The Dutch in Milano is here to show how the extant Dutch scene has successfully transferred handcraft techniques from its past tradition to contemporary design.
