Design Academy Eindhoven is a school of change. It offers a four-year Bachelor’s course and a two-year Master’s course and has an impressive, international team of department heads and tutors. The DNA of Design Academy Eindhoven can be described as conceptual, authentic, creative, flexible, free, passionate and curious. We aim to educate idealistic, reflective, critical and ethically conscious design professionals who are able to function as agents of change and, as such, to design alternatives that pave the way forward.
Presentation
In a world where our sense of touch is numbed & sexualised, DAE reconnects with tactility to explore the counter-movement our students are shaping in response to technology. It reveals their hunger for a more tactile surrounding in an era where screens, apps, & email dictate how we live & communicate.
