LUNEdot changes the old fashioned candle into an all day (Dutch) design interior object. LUNEdot is a thing you thought you knew; a reinvention of pure candle light by adding a unique (patented) twist. LUNEdot is an unending candle, simple, practical and original.Dutch Design start up LUNEdot has developed a fully customizable modular (candle) light concept that can be shaped and combined to fit the user’s preference and can be mixed and matched according to your needs and taste. We believe in design and innovation and have a passion for candle light! We believe that design, pureness and functionality are inseparably linked. We created LUNEdot, a simple everyday (candle) light interior object.
Presentation
LUNEdot; a strong (Dutch) design in your interior and when you light it, it gives warm candle light in the evening.We took an everyday candle and reinvented it adding a unique twist to create LUNEdot; a candle that is unending, simple and original. “The holder is made from aluminium. Within the upright is a magnet which helps it to attach to the base when lit up. Inside the upright is a spring which pushes the candle up the tube so it feels like you have a never ending and then when it finishes, easily insert a new candle. The brilliant thing we noticed was that candle wax will never overflow or run down the tube, no wastage here.”
