Experimentation is the key to innovation. This is the driving force of Envisions, a Dutch collective of designers directed by Simone Post and Sanne Schuurman. Showcasing everything but the final product, their focus lies on research related to colour, material and techniques. Envisions aims to deconstruct and disrupt, reverse and reinvent: to shake up the status quo by exploring previously undiscovered paths in the process.
Presentation
12 Designers will showcase a large variety of experiments with the materials and production processes of Finsa, one of the biggest wood manufacturers in the world. We will present the inspiring next step in our Envisions future; an experimental collaboration between designers and the industry where the emphasis is not on finished products but on undiscovered possibilities.
