BELéN is a designstudio who works in collaboration with materials. Her deep material research leads to appealing and tactile appearances and experiences. An ethical balance between environment/production and human material needs is very important within her sustainable vision. She tries to seduce people with aesthetics to make ethical choices. Expanding human environment by enriching it.
Presentation
SUN+ is a research project into human behaviour towards the sun. We need (and we love) the sun but overexposure can be seriously harmful. We have started out with taking stock of the alternative ways we can use for a healthy and clean life in the sun. As part of the project, we are also exploring the use of textile-based, wearable sunscreen to replace harmful chemicals. Rethinking the physicality of sunscreen seems key, if we want to life a happy life in the sun.
